000Kicks

Overview

000Kicks was a London start-up selling avant-garde, limited-edition sneakers. Each design came from an artist or designer somewhere in the world, from Japan and Greece to the Netherlands, the USA and Russia, and was made in a fixed run of pairs before being retired for good.

I worked on the brand’s look: a bold brush-stroke wordmark with the tagline “Avant-garde footwear”, a high-contrast yellow and black palette inspired by spray paint, and the visuals for its crowdfunding campaign.

What I did

• Logo and wordmark in versions for dark, light and yellow backgrounds.
• A visual language of yellow paint splashes on high-contrast black.
• Product scenes and banners for the BackerKit crowdfunding campaign and social media.
